Data Center Move Technician

Description

This role supports our Service Delivery Engineers (SDE) in the Single-Resource Deployment (SRD) Managed Service. As a Consultant, you will travel to customer data centers and assist engineers with lifting and moving hardware equipment.

Travel within a 100–200 mile radius. Within 50 miles you may use company transportation; beyond 50 miles you must possess a valid driver’s license and arrange car rental.

• Unpack and inspect hardware
• Rack, mount, and/or position products and components
• Install solution-specific chassis components
• Move packaging materials to trash, recycling, or designated area within installation location
• Perform physical lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs

• Background in data‑center hardware installation preferred
• Ability to travel and work on short-term contracts
• Valid driver’s license (required for travel beyond 50 miles)

Contract position lasting 1 month, based in Detroit, MI.

Hourly pay: $25.00–$30.00.
