Description
This role is in support of our current Service Delivery Engineers (SDE) at our SRD (Single‑Resource Deployment) Managed Service. This consultant will be responsible for showing up to customers' Data Centers and assisting the Engineer with lifting and moving hardware equipment.
Travel and Transportation Requirements: They will be traveling around to different data centers in their region (around 100‑200 mi radius). They will need access to transportation within 50 mi; outside of 50 mi, they need to have a valid driver's license and ability to have a car rented for them.
Background and Opportunity: Ideally we are looking for candidates with a background in Data Center hardware installation – the goal is to upskill their experience and they will have the opportunity to shadow the installation of these products for the goal of training them to potentially become Service Delivery Engineers in the future.

Skills & Qualifications
- Unpack and inspect hardware
- Rack, mount, and/or position the product & components
- Install solution specific chassis components
- Move used packaging materials to trash and recycling facility or other designated area within the immediate installation location
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Contract position that will last 1 month.
- Contract position based out of Detroit, MI.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00/hr.
