Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Certified Journeyman Tool Maker Bench - Builds and repairs tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair hoppers, escapements, bowls, tracking or tubes, lower indexes, arbors, hone pots, tool clamping systems, clamp wedge systems, collets, moving pallet fixtures, Gatco bearings, poppets and center line positions.
- Maintain and repair all loader/unloader parts.
- Diagnose and repair tool clamp faults and collet assemblies (HDE).
- Operate HDE Con Rod for 20 and 50 change‑overs.
- Maintain, realign and position all gantries, loading and unloading parts for true position.
- Repair and realign all linear bearings on fixtures, probe plates, part alignment systems, grippers, transfer fingers and bolts.
- Maintain and repair generating heads.
- Install, repair and remove bushing plates, fixture plates and probe plates (Pipefitter responsible for nozzle maintenance and sizing).
- Locate pins, rest pads, guide rails, Osborn, McGill and cam rollers, brass pads for control arms.
- Install spacers and shims with alignment of center‑line fixtures.
- Common lifting and transport of trade specific material.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Certified Journeyperson card holder or ability to document 8 years of experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Legally authorized to work permanently in the United States at the time of application.
- Must successfully complete a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Ability to work effectively with production teams, engineering, service technicians and management staff.
- Position is not open for visa sponsorship or to existing visa holders.

Hourly rate: $38.04. Shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Avg 15 paid holidays per year.
Schedule:
Onsite. Work hours are shift-based.
