Maintenance Supervisor
Supervises employees in the installation and maintenance of electrical and/or mechanical equipment and machinery used in company operations. Oversees the installation and maintenance of equipment and machinery. Oversees the work of maintenance and maintenance support staff; communicates expectations and provides direction and training. Monitors work performance and provides feedback. Coordinates maintenance of production equipment. Oversees technical process control and quality process control.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy maintenance environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; immediately addressing issues and alerting others regarding potential concerns.
- Supervises maintenance employee outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates. Communicates job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions, and recommends compensation actions, adhering to defined policies and procedures.
- Accomplishes maintenance requirements by orienting, assigning, and coaching employees.
- Meets maintenance standards by following productivity and quality standards; resolving problems.
- Works with a cross‑functional team to meet cost standards by implementing cost‑saving actions.
- Fulfills shift operations plans by receiving operational report from previous shift and allocating resources, in addition to fulfilling current operational plan.
- Completes shift operations by monitoring maintenance services, reallocating resources, and solving operational problems.
- Documents maintenance services by completing forms, reports, logs, and records, ensuring accuracy of data.
- Contributes to maintenance and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
- All other duties as assigned.
Five to ten years experience in plant engineering and general maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem solving with emphasis on CNC turning equipment, facility maintenance to current codes, and compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.
Minimum Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
