GSE Maintenance Supervisor

We're seeking an experienced GSE Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians responsible for maintaining and repairing ground support equipment in a fast-paced airport environment. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring equipment reliability and safety.

Candidates with backgrounds in Ground Support Equipment (GSE), heavy equipment, diesel, fleet maintenance, trucking, construction, mining, rail, or automotive manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of 18–20 maintenance technicians.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations, scheduling, and workflow.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
• Monitor technician performance through coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment repairs to maximize fleet uptime.
• Manage parts inventory and maintenance documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support airport operations.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and reporting tools to track KPIs, maintenance metrics, and operational performance.
• Respond to operational challenges and implement timely solutions.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a maintenance or operations environment.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams with multiple direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Process-driven mindset with the ability to improve operational efficiency.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and reporting.
• GSE experience is preferred, but candidates from fleet, diesel, heavy equipment, trucking, construction, mining, rail, or automotive manufacturing are highly encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work a 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shift, including one weekend day.
