We are looking for a Maintenance Scheduling Coordinator to be based out of our Detroit, MI plant to assist the Maintenance Manager with the coordination, direction, and facilitation of activities within the maintenance department.

Accountabilities:

  • Schedule, monitor, direct and ensure completion of preventative and predictive maintenance tasks according to the manufacturer's recommendations and PM schedules.
  • Maintain CMM to ensure adequate inventory of spare parts, including specialty tools for the department. Recommend adjustments to PM frequency and inclusivity as needed.
  • Assist the maintenance manager with ensuring maintenance of plant equipment and facilities by scheduling and directing contractors and support workers.
  • Create, update and maintain documentation relevant to the maintenance group this includes but is not limited to maintenance processes, work instructions, and training manuals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated understanding and application of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic devices.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
  • 3+ years experience with CMMS
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Advanced problem solving skills
