Sero is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure our facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, manage a team of technicians, and drive a proactive approach to preventive maintenance that keeps downtime low and reliability high.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors
- Plan and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for equipment, machinery, and facility systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other equipment issues, and coordinate timely repairs
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory using a CMMS or equivalent system
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of tools, equipment, and materials
- Monitor and control the maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build technical skills and support performance
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and coordinate rapid resolution to minimize operational impact
- Partner with production, operations, and facilities teams to plan maintenance around business needs
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and CMMS software
- Solid understanding of workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Availability to respond to emergencies and work occasional off-hours or weekends as needed
- Experience in [manufacturing / commercial facilities / property management / your industry]
- Lean, Six Sigma, or reliability-centered maintenance experience
