Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Day Porter to our team at a prominent museum and cultural facility near the Woodward Avenue corridor in Midtown Detroit. This is a high-profile, highly visible position that plays an important role in helping the building remain clean, welcoming, and ready for staff, guests, and daily public use.

Because this facility is active throughout the day, the Day Porter is an integral part of the overall operation. We are looking for someone who is professional, attentive, approachable, and ready to respond quickly to cleaning needs as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning
• Sweep, mop, and respond promptly to spills or immediate cleaning needs
• Monitor high-traffic public areas and address cleaning needs throughout the shift
• Communicate facility, supply, or service concerns to management

Requirements

• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work professionally in a busy public-facing environment
• Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform routine physical custodial tasks

Pay: $16 - $17 per hour
