Job SummaryThis position oversees the day‑to‑day custodial operations to ensure a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment. The Custodian Supervisor will be responsible for performing regular cleaning services for an assigned area, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows and doors, and strip‑and‑waxing or carpet cleaning of all floor surfaces. Under the direction of the Physical Plant Director, the custodian supervisor provides direct supervision and guidance to a team of custodians and student staff, directs all phases of routine and/or emergency cleaning and general minor maintenance of all facilities, schedules and trains the custodial team, and manages and orders custodial supplies and equipment.
Safety procedures and protocols are maintained. The work schedule may vary between 4 am and 6 pm, including rotating weekend shifts.
High school diploma or GED. Candidates without a high school diploma or GED must enroll in the Adult Learning Center at LRSC and complete the GED within one year from the date of hire. Previous supervisory experience is required.
Salary$49,600 - $56,600 depending on experience.
