Front Desk Agent - Luxury Hotel Guest Services - Doha, Qatar
A prestigious hotel under the Vignette Collection in Doha is seeking a professional and service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join the guest services team. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you'll be instrumental in creating a welcoming and seamless arrival and departure experience, while delivering personalized service and local insights. This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail.

What You'll Do- Welcome and check in guests, issue room keys, and provide relevant hotel and area information.
- Ensure proper identification and documentation are collected as per local requirements.
- Handle phone calls, messages, and guest requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Upsell rooms and services when appropriate to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
- Accurately process payments and resolve any billing disputes during check-out.
- Update and maintain guest preferences and records using the Opera PMS.
- Manage safe deposit boxes and follow all front desk protocols.
- Communicate guest issues to management and follow up for timely resolution.
- Assist with concierge services, room tours, and special guest needs.
- Follow all safety and security procedures and report incidents as necessary.
- 2 to 3 years of front desk or guest service experience in a five-star hotel.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Opera or similar property management systems.
- Professional appearance and guest-first attitude.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
