The Role

The EZ Street Product Manager is the business manager for our EZ Street product line; responsible for sales growth, financial performance, inventory planning, and quality coordination. You’ll build the pipeline, grow key accounts, develop new channels, and execute with discipline, while working cross-functionally with Sales, Plants, Quality Control (QC), and Accounting to deliver sustained profitability.

What You’ll Do Own Sales Growth & Market Expansion
  • Build and execute a sales plan to grow volume and market share
  • Be on the road meeting customers: municipalities, utilities, contractors, distributors, retailers, and private clients
  • Hunt new business through proactive outreach (yes—cold calling and door opening)
  • Represent EZ Street at conferences, trade shows, and customer events
  • Lead bid activity: identify opportunities, prepare submissions, and align internally on pricing, supply, and logistics
  • Keep pipeline, activities, and forecasting current and accurate in the CRM
Drive Profitability & Performance
  • Track and report KPIs (volume, revenue, margin, inventory turns)
  • Partner on pricing strategy with a profitability-first mindset
  • Coordinate with Accounting to ensure clean execution and timely invoicing
Manage Inventory & Coordinate Supply
  • Forecast demand and manage finished goods inventory across production/distribution points
  • Coordinate production planning to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
  • Partner with QC and plant teams to ensure consistent product performance

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Sales, Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship, or related preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Regular overnight travel within the territory (~3 hours from Chicagoland); occasional evenings/weekends based on customer needs
  • Comfortable with CRM discipline, forecasting, margin analysis, and bid/spec work
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems
