Waste Water Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform basic chemical analysis such as pH, flash point, FOG, solids, and ammonia.
• Operate a variety of equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
• Sample tanker trucks and containers.
• Connect hoses and unload tanker trucks.
• Use basic oil line and wastewater treatment line operations.
• Assist with the operation of sludge transfer and dewatering systems.
• Submit all associated paperwork required for regulatory and safety record keeping.

• Less than 1 year of experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Wastewater Technician Certification preferred.
• Ability to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend, and twist for extended periods.
• Ability to lift or carry over 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
• Consistent ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Experience in Net Suite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
