Material Handler CDL

Overview

Safety-Kleen in Dolton, IL is seeking a Warehouse Worker (internally known as a Material Handler). You will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner.

• Ensures health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices and policies, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Unload and reload route trucks.
• Stock warehouse with materials after Distribution Center truck arrival.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center.
• General housekeeping.
• Assist with inventory.

• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL Class A required.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Good communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with waste labels, manifests, and load sheets.
• Forklift experience (not required but preferred).
• Experience in a warehouse environment (not required but preferred).

Notes: Compensation offered includes starting at $20/hr and comprehensive benefits after 30 days of full-time employment, with potential for growth and company-paid training and tuition reimbursement.
