** General Expectations**:

Forklift operators are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas and work centers.
** Duties /Responsibilities**:
* Coordinates with Shipping/Receiving Area Coordinator and Materials Manager
* Loading, unloading of materials
* Maintains quality expectation of documentation and reports accordingly
* Transports raw material to production workers
* Maintains daily logs and report shortages
* Inspect equipment
* Performs other duties as required by management
** Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required**:
* Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team.
* Attention to detail.
* General building material knowledge.
* Ability to read and write effectively all job-related functions.
* Knowledge of basic mathematics.
* Must be able to assist in maintaining lumber/rafter yard and sheds with proper housekeeping skills.
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of continuous experience of forklift operation.
* Must have good organizational skills.
* Must have patience and work well under pressure
* Must be flexible with working hours and duties.
* Demonstrates honesty and integrity. Has a strong work ethic.
* Displays a great attitude and models teamwork, assisting other forklift operators in every department.
** Education &

Qualifications:

*** Preferred forklift experience.
* Able to pass forklift operator’s driving assessment.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
* 100% of work to be performed in an outdoor environment subject weather, noise, and dust.
* This position is crucial to the efficient operation of the facility. Applicant must understand the challenge to replace a forklift operator when absent.
