Maintenance Supervisor

Demopolis, AL (relocation assistance provided)

The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, supports production uptime, manages work orders and schedules, and promotes a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with production and department leaders to maintain equipment performance and deliver high-quality products.

• Supervise daily maintenance operations, meeting goals for safety, productivity, quality, and cost.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe work practices, quality repairs, and equipment reliability.
• Plan and assign maintenance work schedules to support production needs.
• Prioritize and coordinate repair requests for timely completion.
• Inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs, and drive preventive maintenance efforts.
• Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members, including onboarding and skills development for new equipment.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently and lead by example in safety.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying shifts.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Stand for up to 10 hours on concrete floors.
• Work in both refrigerated (40–48°F) and hot (80°F+) environments.
• Lift up to 75 lbs. and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
