Maintenance Scheduler

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Primarily responsible for maintaining preventative maintenance (PM) schedule, including generation, scheduling and completion and assisting the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler plan weekly maintenance scheduling workload for assigned location(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Under direction of the Maintenance Scheduler/Planner, assist with scheduling maintenance work orders, maximizing efficiency and productivity
• Generate, schedule and validate completion of preventative maintenance, including Utilities, update PM chart upon completion
• Stage planned work daily, ensuring maintenance team members understand order of work
• Assist maintenance team members as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND

CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Strong computer skills with ability to prioritize information
• Must have exceptional communication, both verbal and written, in English; bi-lingual preferred
• Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to appropriately handle situations and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail
• Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
• Must wear personal protective equipment in all areas where mandatory

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moderate use of hands/fingers to operate computer, keyboard and mouse; may remain stationary for extended periods of time
