We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our hospital team as a Janitor. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

• Clean interior and exterior windows.
• Dust and wash surfaces, walls, and ceilings.
• Polish interior glass, marble, and tile surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Assist as a Carpenter’s Helper when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support hospital operations.

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to safely use common cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning products.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Dependable work habits and a commitment to maintaining clean, professional facilities.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.

As a Janitor you will clean and maintain assigned work areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, emptying waste containers, restocking supplies, and performing routine facility upkeep. You will help maintain safe, organized, and sanitary environments while following established cleaning procedures and workplace safety standards.
