Job Description
Overview:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform installation, modification, repair, and maintenance of equipment and machinery, including pneumatic equipment, electrical conduit, wiring, outlets, fixtures, transformers, panel boards, AC & DC motors, relay and control equipment, and other production and facility equipment in accordance with engineering principles and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers (PLC)
- Prepare accurate records for preventative maintenance for machines and equipment
- Complete all process/product related documentation as it relates to the work performed
- Perform changeover, setup and operation of production equipment Perform housekeeping and other duties required
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of product, equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory points
- Must be able to work assigned as required
- Be on call when plant is in operation
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously to build knowledge and skills
- Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to request for service and assistance; meets commitments
- Meets productivity standards; completes work in a timely manner; strives to increase productivity; works quickly and safely
- Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines;
