Custodian - 1st Shift ~ Caesar Rodney High School

Position Overview

Full-time 1st Shift Custodian at Caesar Rodney High School.

The role includes the following tasks:

• Climb ladders and consistently lift 50 pounds.
• Perform indoor and outdoor cleaning tasks, maintain equipment, and deep clean classroom and staff areas.
• Execute snow removal during inclement weather.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Adjust shift hours as needed by the principal.

Internal candidates must complete an online transfer request form.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma, certificate of completion, or GED.
• Submit a copy of high school diploma.
• Meet all employment requirements.

Salary is determined by the State of Delaware and local salary schedules based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

• Provide official high school transcripts, updated resume, and three letters of recommendation.
• All employees must submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
• Provide proper identification, documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S., complete I‑9 and Delaware Child Protection Registry paperwork.
