Position Overview
Full-time 1st Shift Custodian at Caesar Rodney High School.
ResponsibilitiesThe role includes the following tasks:
- Climb ladders and consistently lift 50 pounds.
- Perform indoor and outdoor cleaning tasks, maintain equipment, and deep clean classroom and staff areas.
- Execute snow removal during inclement weather.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Adjust shift hours as needed by the principal.
Internal candidates must complete an online transfer request form.
QualificationsApplicants must meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma, certificate of completion, or GED.
- Submit a copy of high school diploma.
- Meet all employment requirements.
Salary is determined by the State of Delaware and local salary schedules based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.
Pre‑Employment Requirements- Provide official high school transcripts, updated resume, and three letters of recommendation.
- All employees must submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Provide proper identification, documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S., complete I‑9 and Delaware Child Protection Registry paperwork.
