Primary Duties

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

  • Oversees the cleaning all areas in the facility.
  • Develop cleaning schedules for the shift.
  • Ensures that tools and cleaning supplies are maintained in good working order and that chemicals are handled properly.
  • Develop and maintain an inventory control and ordering system for consumable supplies.
  • Responsible for training new janitors and incumbent janitors.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Transport small equipment or tools between buildings or within a building.
  • Keep records of work completed.
  • Provide Project Manager with required feedback including a daily report listing project work completed and problem areas or situation, and monthly reports as detailed in the contract.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education, Experience, and Certification(s) Required
  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Ability to foster teamwork.
  • A well-organized, detail-oriented invidual with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Ability to manage mulptile activities and prioritize multiple competing tasks.

    Ability to set priorities for self, team and peers, and adjust when priorities change.
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms;

climb, balance, kneel, bend and crouch; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and crawl. The employee will regularly lift or move products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. The employee will frequently be required to climb a ladder and use power tools. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
