Supervisor - Janitorial

• Oversee the cleaning of all areas in the facility.
• Develop cleaning schedules for each shift.
• Ensure that tools and cleaning supplies are maintained in good working order and that chemicals are handled properly.
• Develop and maintain an inventory control and ordering system for consumable supplies.
• Train new janitors and current staff on proper cleaning procedures.
• Transport small equipment or tools between buildings or within a building.
• Keep records of work completed.
• Provide Project Manager with required feedback, including a daily report listing project work completed and problem areas, and monthly reports as detailed in the contract.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
• Ability to foster teamwork.
• Well‑organized and detail‑oriented individual with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize competing tasks.
• Ability to set priorities for self, team, and peers, and adjust when priorities change.

Performing the duties of this job requires standing and walking regularly; reaching with hands and arms; climbing, balancing, kneeling, bending, and crouching; and talking or hearing. The employee occasionally needs to sit and crawl. The employee regularly lifts or moves products and supplies up to 50 pounds, frequently climbs a ladder, and uses power tools. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.

The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
