Job Summary Performs a wide variety of routine cleaning duties at campus buildings which include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping,vacuum cleaning, dusting tasks & changing of light bulbs.
Maintains rest rooms which includes cleaning of walls, sinks,fixtures, toilets & mirrors. Replenishes towels, tissues &soap dispensers. Empties garbage receptacles. Performs recyclingduties when necessary. Cleans entrances to buildings. Includesglass on entrance doors & exterior areas to buildings. Policesareas around buildings for litter. Performs work orders assigned bythe Custodial Supervisor which are associated with assisting theday custodial staff with set ups of special events & collegeactivities.
Clears snow & ice from entrance ways, walkways,patios & steps. Shovels or sweeps areas & applies calciumchloride. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education
High school graduate or equivalency desirable
Qualifications- Experience
0-6 months experience in custodial maintenance
Work HoursMonday – Friday 5:00 pm – 1:30 am
