Pest Control Technician

Job Description

The Pest Control Technician is responsible for performing industry‑leading pest management services for residential customers.

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest‑free environment.
• Provide advice to reduce the risk of future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand products to new customers.
• Maintain pest control equipment to ensure it is stocked and in good working condition.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Operate company‑provided service vehicle safely and perform routine maintenance as provided.
• Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, and passageways, and around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals while maintaining safety.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as OSHA‑compliant respirators.

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Clean shaven face (required for rebreather use).
• License/certificate as required by federal, state, or local regulations (provided by company).
• Availability to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills to follow mixing instructions on product labels.
• Customer‑facing experience preferred.

Pay: Hourly $20.00–$26.00 (varies by location, skill, experience).

Schedule: Monday–Friday and weekends as required.
