: 7:30 a.m. – 4:0 p.m. Rotating weekends rotating holidays.

Pay Range
: $18.85 – $28.30

• Clean/disinfect assigned areas by washing walls, doors, door frames, ceilings, patient televisions, windows, furniture, tile, fixtures, appliances, floors, and equipment with appropriate cleaning solutions following procedures and schedule.
• Operate equipment following department procedures.
• Use chemicals and solutions following department policy.
• Keep work areas orderly, clean and safe.
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction: use AIDET, resolve conflicts, maintain a positive attitude, uphold confidentiality, follow chain of command, and maintain courteous demeanor.
• Use appropriate procedures for patient discharges: thoroughly wash/sanitize beds, rooms, washrooms, and use disinfectants.
• Replenish supplies (paper towels, toilet tissues, soap, etc.), collect waste, sanitize garbage cans, and observe infection control policies.
• Clean or sanitize after emergency spills, place tied bags of soiled linen in linen chutes, ensure a safe clean environment, wash hands per handwash policy, prepare detergents and solutions, sweep/damp mop floor areas, spot‑clean carpets, and shampoo furniture, carpets and rugs per schedule.
• Identify types of soiled/spotting, handle chemicals, maintain labeled containers, and adhere to safety regulations.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning, rearrangement, and relocation; arrange furniture for meetings, workshops, and community affairs per specifications.
• Report equipment needing repair, safety hazards, return unused supplies, collect/distribute linens and waste, handle hazardous and medical waste per Infection Control Committee procedures, and segregate recycle trash.
• Attend mandatory departmental and hospital meetings, complete annual CBTs, follow department goals, and seek educational opportunities.
• Maintain proper attendance, plan days off, submit PTO requests per policy, and provide adequate notice when absent.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

• Able to operate small electrical equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Effective communication in English, including reading chemical labels and safety materials.

• Walking, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting throughout the day.
• Lift up to 35 pounds without assistance; lifts over 35 pounds require lifting equipment or an additional associate.
• Unique lifting/movement situations are assessed on a case‑by‑case basis.
