POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs routine manual labor tasks in maintaining areas and offices of the complex in attractive, clean, and sanitary conditions. Works evening shifts required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sweeps and mops floors, empties trash baskets, dusts furniture, baseboards, windowsills, etc.
• Cleans lavatories and bathrooms and maintains supplies for them.
• Vacuum carpets
• Clean glass
• Empty recycling
• May be required to perform additional work that follows prescribed or well-established procedures that can be learned within a reasonable time by training on the job. More detailed instructions as to the nature of their duties will be given to employees at the beginning of work.

• High school student or higher education required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Must be physically fit to perform the above duties with the ability to work for extended periods under hot and humid conditions.
• Must have experience in position or allied experience to be evaluated by Director.
