Student Worker - Weight Room

Weight Room Assistant

Student will assist in maintaining a clean and safe weight room environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Check in all students and ensure that only Delaware Valley University students/faculty/staff are using the facility

2. Put loose weights and dumbbells back in racks

3. Assist in cleaning all machines

4. Loan out recreational balls to students and retrieve them

5. Walk through gym to ensure coherence to facility rules

6. Contact security to close the facilities in the evening

Education Employment eligibility:

• Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility

Preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of the weight room at Delaware Valley

Physical Requirements and

Working Conditions:

1. Occasionally lifting 25 lbs or more
