Part Time Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the building that he/she is assigned to. He/she will be responsible for completing the daily duties provided to him/her by the supervisor. The custodian will be responsible for team cleaning and individual cleaning. Constant communication with the supervisor is key to making sure the duties are completed.

• Conduct regular inspections of the assigned area.
• Follow job duties that the supervisor assigns.
• Cross train in different areas.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Inform supervisor of broken equipment and fill stations that do not work properly.
• Sweep floors.
• Mop floors.
• Dust.
• Clean restrooms.
• Take out trash.
• Vacuum.
• Disinfect touch points and surfaces.
• Clean glass doors and windows.
• Clean and polish drinking fountains.
• Clean kitchens/break rooms.
• Sweep, mop stairwells.
• Wipe down handrails in stairwells.
• Clean and polish elevators.
• Keep custodial closet clean and organized.

Note:

You will be provided a building specific schedule; the above tasks are company wide and you could be asked to perform such duties at any time.
