Maintenance Technician

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, systems, and building infrastructure.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating repairs and maintenance activities with outside contractors as directed.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and participate in required training programs.
- Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and support compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with facility improvement, construction, and renovation projects as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.
- Change HVAC filters as required and assist in maintaining HVAC systems.
- Maintain and service evaporative coolers.
- Service and maintain the process water system, including daily inspections and completion of required logbooks.
- Service and maintain steam generators, including daily monitoring and documentation of operating conditions.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance tasks according to the established preventive maintenance schedule.
- Assist with tank and scale calibrations.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently when required.
- Respond to facility maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Support troubleshooting of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions.
- Regular exposure to manufacturing, warehouse, and facility environments.
- May require occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- May require standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods.
- Participation in an on-call or emergency response rotation may be required.
