Job Description

How does your working day look like …

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Assist guests with luggage, ensuring timely and efficient handling to and from rooms.
  • Escort guests to their rooms when necessary, ensuring they have all the information needed for their stay.
  • Ensure that all luggage is tagged, stored, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Regularly inspect luggage storage areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and safe.
  • Handle and store guests' packages with care, ensuring they are delivered promptly to the recipient.
  • Bike and Trolley Maintenance & Cleaning:
  • Ensure that all hotel bikes are clean, in good working condition, and ready for guest use.
  • Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain trolleys to ensure they are in excellent working condition and polished daily.
  • Ensure that the lobby and driveway are kept clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
  • Provide coverage for the hotel driveway, greeting guests upon arrival, assisting with luggage, and helping with the smooth flow of vehicles.
  • Support the valet team by directing traffic efficiently, ensuring safe and organized vehicle management.
  • Stay fully informed about the hotel’s services, amenities, local attractions, and daily events to provide accurate, up-to-date information to guests.
  • Offer personalized recommendations about hotel offerings, including room types, amenities, facilities, restaurant menus, and daily events.
  • Be knowledgeable about local attractions, activities, and dining options, helping guests make informed decisions about things to do during their stay.
  • Ensure all guest interactions are positive, warm, and personalized, focusing on creating lasting memories and providing exceptional service.
  • Greet guests before they greet you, ensuring a proactive approach to service.
  • Use positive body language and maintain an approachable, friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene Standards:
  • Ensure that the hotel lobby, entrance, luggage storage areas, and driveway are kept spotless and welcoming.
  • Ensure all equipment (luggage trolleys, bikes, etc.) is clean, in good working condition, and polished as per the hotel’s cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for luggage storage, deliveries, and guest messages as per hotel standards.
  • Keep updated on daily operational information, including occupancy, arrivals, departures, VIP guests, and any special requirements or services.
  • Assist with the training of new team members, showing best practices for luggage handling, guest interactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
  • Actively contribute to a positive team culture, ensuring a collaborative environment that enhances overall guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all health, safety, fire, and hygiene policies are followed in all tasks.
  • Adhere to hotel procedures regarding guest privacy, security, and the safe handling of personal information.
  • Be proactive in identifying and resolving any issues or service failures that may affect guest satisfaction, ensuring they are addressed before they become problems.
  • Ensure that all feedback from guests is communicated to the appropriate team members for follow-up and resolution.
Qualifications Your personality counts more than your CV …
  • Minimum Completed Secondary School Education.
  • At least 1 year of hotel experience in a front-office or guest services role, preferably as a Bellman, Doorman, or related position.
  • Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as Russian, Mandarin, or any European languages are an advantage.
