Overview

We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Butler to join our esteemed team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. As a Butler in our luxury establishment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional, personalized service to our discerning guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.

Responsibilities
  • Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs with the utmost attention to detail and discretion
  • Manage guest requests efficiently, including packing / unpacking, laundry services, and personal shopping
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain an organized and immaculate environment in guest suites and common areas
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages as required
  • Assist with event planning and execution for private functions
  • Handle guest correspondence and manage schedules as needed
  • Ensure all service standards are met and exceeded consistently
  • Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive and luxurious guest experience
  • Adapt to changing situations and guest needs with flexibility and professionalism
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Butler or in a similar high-end hospitality role
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guests' needs
  • Proficiency in etiquette, protocol, and luxury service standards
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making capabilities
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Basic computer skills for guest correspondence and record-keeping
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
