Job Description- Prepares and serves beverage orders and provides a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service always, following the Standards of Performance.
- Understands all beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend beverage combinations and up-sell alternatives.
- Follows correct sequence of service outlined in the Standard Operating Manual.
- Checks all tables & trays to ensure maximum cleanliness and standard settings.
- Handles guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and reports guest complaints or problems to Head Bartender/Beverage Manager if no immediate solution can be founded and to assure follow up with guests.
- Establishes a rapport with guests, maintaining good customer relationship.
- Determine when a customer seated at the bar has had too much alcohol and report it to the Head Bartender or Beverage manager to take correct actions.
- Performs opening and closing procedures established for the Place of Work as assigned.
- Maintain bar stocks and supplies and update the manager for ordering purposes.
- Adapts to rotate within the different sub-departments of the Food & Beverage Division or any other Department of the entity as assigned.
- Ensures that health, hygiene, and safety regulations are complied with and applied in the department in compliance with HACCP standards and procedures.
- Reports for duty punctually always wearing the correct uniform.
- Always maintains a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Projects always a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.
- To participate in all relevant training offered by the company.
- Participate in weekly department meetings and raise relevant points for action.

- Two (2) years minimum experience in similar position in a five- or four-star hotel.
