An opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie to join Shimmers Kitchen at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam
. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Assist Culinary teams in enhancing team spirit, credibility, respect, openness, and trust.
- Report accidents, sickness, or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Chef de Cuisine with clear details.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and areas, coordinating with the Stewarding Manager.
- Adhere to company policies on Safety Procedures, Food Hygiene, and Safe Food Handling practices.
- Ensure all ingredients are ordered, received, stored, and prepared according to standards, minimizing waste and supporting financial goals.
- Develop "Chef's Creations" that align with the restaurant's concept and help develop personal culinary style.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Should have 5-year minimum experience in Culinary Oriental Section in a five-star hotel.
- Work in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of the style of cuisine.
- Knowledge of HACCP as well as general health & safety in the workplace.
- Solid International Culinary experience.
