Job Description
The Food and Beverage (F&B) Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of food and beverage services in a hospitality setting. As an F&B Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the team of service staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that guests enjoy a high-quality dining experience. You will also be tasked with inventory control, menu planning, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Your role will require excellent leadership skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a keen eye for detail. By coordinating with other departments, you will ensure that all guests’ needs are met, enhancing overall customer satisfaction. - Monitor and supervise daily operations of the food and beverage department.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed in the department.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of food and beverage service staff.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Oversee inventory management and control of food and beverage supplies.
- Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in creating and implementing service procedures and policies.
- Ensure all food and beverage areas are clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Assist in budgeting and financial management of the department.
- Analyze guest feedback and implement service improvements where necessary.
- Contribute to menu planning and development in collaboration with chefs.
- Coordinate staff scheduling to meet service demands and optimize resources.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for the role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient understanding of health and safety regulations in hospitality.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Certification in food safety and hospitality management is a plus.
