Job Overview The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

• Perform all janitorial duties according to the daily schedule.
• Handle hazardous waste responsibilities: collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping, receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, and packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor risk behavior of others and self.
• Collaborate with other employees to perform work assignments.
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a clean work area.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers.
• Cover for staff shortages and support shift lead with punch‑list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems and environmental practices.

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months of training or experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete all safety and task training certifications.
• May require forklift certification.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and willingness to share with the team.
• Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds, chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Monday‑Friday: 5:00pm – 1:30pmPay: $16.25 – $17.25 per hour
