Commercial Building Maintenance Technician

Vaco is hiring for a Commercial Building Maintenance Technician opportunity in Dublin OH. Direct Hire. Salary: 78-85,000/yr

Our client is a leading commercial real estate owner and operator expanding its property management team to support a Class A/B office campus. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and professional environment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, and responding to tenant service requests.

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across commercial office buildings.
• Maintain HVAC systems, including filters, belts, BAS, and pneumatic controls.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, automatic doors, locks, lighting, and other building systems.
• Respond promptly to tenant work orders with excellent customer service.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance or safety issues.
• Coordinate with property management and outside vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance and special projects.

• 5+ years of commercial building maintenance experience supporting office buildings.
• Hands‑on experience with HVAC, plumbing, automatic doors, locks, and lighting systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, visitors, vendors, and leadership.
• Ability to prioritize work and respond to maintenance requests in a fast‑paced environment.

• Experience supporting elevator maintenance vendors.
• Experience with commercial property management or CMMS/work order systems.
