** We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping/Receiving Worker to become a key part of our operations team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork matter, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

* Position Summary:

** As a Shipping/Receiving Worker, you'll lift, transport, store, and load materials and products using cranes, hoists, or forklifts. You will play a vital role in the administration of incoming and outgoing shipments, helping to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our logistics process.

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* + Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy.

+ Maintain records on shipments and prepare items for shipment.

+ Direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.

+ Prepare bills of lading and affix shipping labels or stencil shipping information on cartons.

+ Assemble containers or select pre-assembled containers, and insert items into containers.

+ Coordinate with supervisors to ensure smooth flow of materials or products across departments.

+ Review records for accuracy and compliance; assess stock levels.

Requisition containers and supplies for delivery to work stations.

+ Verify and prepare records such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders.

* Qualifications:

* + High school diploma or GED

+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

+ Must be comfortable with physical demands including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

+ Strong vision abilities required (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth-perception, and focus).

+

Experience with MRP systems, email, spreadsheets, and word processing software.

+ Proficient in electronic databases and data entry.
