Appointment Setter Position at Crown Automotive

Crown Automotive is hiring an Appointment Setter for their busy automotive service department. This position requires proficient general office and administrative skills and is primarily responsible for accurate and timely posting of service labor time to repair orders.

Experience with an automotive dealership is preferred, but not required. Crown Automotive Group is a family-owned, TOP 100 dealership! Headquartered in St. Petersburg, FL since 1969, we have several locations throughout the Pinellas County FL area as well as additional locations in Tallahassee, FL;

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely posting of service labor time to repair orders.
  • Complete and accurate transfer of all written data from repair order to computer.
  • Ensure 100% documentation compliance with established dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Assist advisors with incoming phone calls.
  • Maintain cross training and temporarily provide coverage of those duties in their absence.
  • Code and computer flag all warranty repair orders.
  • Review all repair orders for compliance to warranty policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate paper flow with the warranty administrator and maintain paper flow integrity.
  • Communicate vehicle repair status with the service advisors.
  • Maintain professional appearance and neat work area.
  • Create all purchase orders for pre-owned department.
  • Follow up on all extended warranty claims for the service department.
  • Attend department meetings as requested.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Comply with all policies as described in the company's Employee Handbook.
  • Other duties may be assigned, based on company’s needs.

Qualifications:

Experience with an automotive dealership, preferred.

Additional Technical or Administrative Knowledge:

  • Preferred knowledge of Internet, Windows and Personal Computers.
  • Basic typing and calculator skills.
  • Basic Phone operation skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percents.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
