Cleaning Co-worker - Dickeyville - 1st Shift

Summary

Cleaning and maintaining the premises of A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. in a clean and orderly manner by performing the following duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-first, and works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers while promoting a “People First” approach
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Balance technical responsibilities with a service-oriented mindset to support co-workers and the organization
• Sweep and mop tile floors; vacuum carpets and mats as needed
• Empty wastebaskets, recycle bins, and sanitary disposal receptacles; replace liners
• Dust and wipe desks, tables, chairs, counters, cabinets, ledges, pictures, file cabinets, vending machines, and other horizontal surfaces
• Clean and organize conference rooms, office areas, hallways, and common areas
• Spot clean walls, doors, glass, window ledges, light switches, kick plates, and push plates
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, shower areas, and chrome fixtures
• Refill restroom and breakroom dispensers, including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue
• Clean and disinfect sinks, microwaves, vending machines, and stainless-steel surfaces
• Wet mop and sanitize floors using germicidal disinfectant detergents
• Remove fingerprints, stains, splash marks, calcium deposits, and other visible soil from surfaces
• Maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of office, breakroom, restroom, and hallway areas
• Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Six months’ related experience and/or training preferred.

A pre-employment Background Check and 6 panel (no THC) Drug screen required.

This position is required to work full-time at our Dickeyville, Wisconsin location from 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM.
