ASPIRUS ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL in Duluth, MN is seeking a PLANT ENGINEER TRAINEE to join our PLANT SYSTEMS OPERATIONS team!

Salary Range: $23.03 - $25.51 Hourly

VARIED (ALL) SHIFTS, Variable Shifts

Weekend Requirement:
Two Weekends Per Month

Under the guidance of a plant engineer, assists in performing duties of the plant engineer or other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate or equivalent.

* Experience:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Education:

2-Year Technical or Trade School

* Experience:

Previous course work or experience with heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Proficient user of Micro Soft software to be used in systems documentation.

* READING - Intermediate:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

* WRITING - Basic:
Ability to write simple correspondence.

* SPEAKING - Basic:
Ability to speak simple sentences.

* MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic Skills:

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

* REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate

Skills:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
