Job Description
This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including offices, production areas, and common spaces. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning equipment and surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas such as offices, hallways, restrooms, and production areas.
- Dust desks, clean offices, wipe down cubicles, and sanitize restrooms.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Maintain floors by stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed.
- Clean carpets using vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaning equipment.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks (replace light bulbs, change filters, minor repairs).
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up for special events or meetings.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies related to cleaning and chemical handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage rooms and closets.
- Clean or wipe down fire extinguishers and all relevant surfaces.
- Report needed repairs or maintenance issues to the Office Manager.
- Cross‑train on multiple types of equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Knowledge of safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in custodial or cleaning services (preferred).
- Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop.
- Lift up to 60 lbs., push/pull 100 lbs.
- Stand on feet for long periods during a shift up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises.
- Work in outdoor environment in all weather conditions, walk up steps multiple times, bend over multiple times.

- Latex gloves.
- Face shield.
- High‑visibility vest.
- Respirator (must maintain clean‑shaven face).
Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $20.04.
