The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Schedule: Full‑time availability required, including weekdays and weekends.
Essential Functions- Partner with the Director of Engineering to recruit, develop, manage and monitor performance; recommend disciplinary actions.
- Proactively ensure proper department coverage aligned with business demands.
- Ensure compliance with city and state ordinances and brand standards.
- Maintain the highest levels of productivity.
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep, including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, light carpentry, and painting.
- Respond to open work orders and resolve requests within 24 hours.
- Assist in scheduling and completing preventive maintenance for buildings and equipment.
- Engage in hands‑on work for all building repairs, preventative maintenance and general upkeep, including larger projects.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Conduct daily property inspections to ensure cleanliness, orderliness and proper maintenance condition.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Perform additional tasks assigned, such as plumbing, blueprint analysis, electrical, city code compliance and environmental initiatives.
- Maintain exterior grounds, interior common areas, and conduct year‑round grounds maintenance, including snow and ice removal.
- Adapt to changing needs and maintain a friendly, positive attitude toward internal and external customers.
- Build and maintain effective business relationships.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing; practice active listening and respond professionally.
- Collaborate as a team player with a positive, productive approach.
- Seek, accept, and act on feedback.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet required volume.
- Adhere to department policies, attendance, grooming, appearance standards, and work rules.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; follow incident procedures and be knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety laws.
- Attend required department and company meetings.

Minimum Requirements Education & Experience- 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related carpentry/construction, ideally in hospitality.
- Special boiler license or willingness to obtain one, if applicable.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO), if applicable.

- Office hours may vary based on portfolio needs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety laws.
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration; noise can be loud.
- Frequent outdoor exposure: wind, snow/ice, rain.
- Lifting over 50 lbs, occasionally.
- Required actions: grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, visual acuity.
- Vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
- Must successfully meet criminal background screening requirements.
Pay: $24 per hour.
