Haven Homes, a Cassia community, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team! As a Maintenance Technician at Haven Homes, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, preventative maintenance, painting, carpentry work, and general building upkeep across our campus. The ideal candidate is dependable, handy, and customer service focused with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Position Type: Full-Time (32 hours)
Shifts Available: Days: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (some flexibility)
Wage Range: $20.67 - $25.70 / hour, depending on experience
Location: 4848 Gateway Blvd, Maple Plain, MN 55359
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
- Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program.
- Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
- Follow-through on projects with minimal supervision.
- Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job-related duties.
- Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Prior experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and/or floor care preferred.
- Ability to use tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.
- Ability to make basic repairs inside and outside of building, including basic carpentry, plumbing, replacing light bulbs, filters, etc.
- Boilers license a plus, but not required.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to work on-call as needed.
- Must have strong communication and organizations skills.
