Custodial Workers provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care.
This position is responsible for:
- Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures.
- Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department set up request.
- Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Work schedule: FTE .5 (20 hrs. weekly) Night Shift
Required Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred
- Must be able to read, write and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
- Physical requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Ability to push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet.
