Seasonal Groundskeeper (Part-Time Seasonal Position)

We are a full-service, commercial real estate firm that delivers highly specialized Asset Management Services and focuses primarily on Manufactured Housing and Self-Storage. We own and operate over 115 properties across 30 states. Responsibilities include:

Assisting the Maintenance Manager with landscaping and property maintenance of one of our Mobile Home communities. The role is part-time, seasonal, and ideal for high school or college students seeking summer work.

• Daily upkeep of the grounds and appearance of the property, including community grounds and common areas, and creation/maintenance of curb appeal.
• Managing the watering system to optimize turf conditions.
• Edging, blowing, mowing, and snow blowing.
• Assisting in the maintenance of manufactured homes.
• Patrolling the community and performing physical site inspections while maintaining relationships with residents.
• Performing painting, general carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, HVAC repair/replacement, minor roof repairs, unclogging drains, and other related duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Starting salary $16 per hour (may vary depending on experience).

• Valid driver’s license.
• Conflict resolution skills with a professional and calm demeanor.
• Ability to bend, lift, get out and make rounds through the community.
• Read and understand documents including user instructions, policy manual, checklists, and rental leases or other legal forms.
• Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Experience operating landscaping machinery.
• Adaptable to changing work conditions.
• Basic carpentry and maintenance skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of the park and surrounding area.
• Flexible and rotating schedule to include most weekends and summer holidays.
• Visual acuity and ability to hear for clear communication.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time, reach with arms and hands, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Finger and hand dexterity for gripping and operating equipment.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Minimum age 16 years old.
