OVERVIEW:
The White Glove Home Inspector / Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing exceptional care and oversight of private residences and Glacier Club facilities. This role focuses on routine home inspections for members while they are away, ensuring homes are fully operational, secure, and member/guest-ready upon arrival.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in general maintenance. This position requires the ability to identify issues, perform minor repairs, create clear inspection reports, and respond quickly to member requests with professionalism and urgency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (JOB DUTIES):
White Glove Inspector (~70%):
Perform periodic inspections of private residences to identify potential issues or abnormalities.
Inspect HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, toilets, doors/windows, batteries, remotes, security systems, and general home conditions.
Create detailed inspection reports and communicate findings for owner review and repair approvals.
Coordinate daily with White Glove Manager.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance as approved.
Ensure homes are secure, clean, and fully operational for member arrival.
Assist with package delivery, furniture moving, trash service, and other homeowner requests.
Maintenance Technician (~30%):
Perform general maintenance and repairs on Glacier Club facilities and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, carpentry, and other building systems.
Assist with pool and hot tub maintenance.
Respond to maintenance requests and urgent issues as needed.
Support the Facilities team with all operational needs and maintenance schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience in general maintenance, home inspection, or related trades preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency with basic computer programs for reporting.
Must be an individual of the utmost integrity: trustworthy, professional, and able to work in private homes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum one year of maintenance, facilities, or residential inspection experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required. Must be legally licensed to operate a private passenger vehicle and have no DWI/DUI citations within the last 5 years. Customer service experience in a transportation role is a plus (shuttle, bussing, taxi, valet, etc.).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to perform tasks that require stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, walking indoors, working at heights, lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying up to 50 lbs., reaching above the shoulder, reaching at shoulder level, and reaching below the shoulder.
