Join the City of Durango's Streets Team and contribute to the infrastructure that keeps our community running smoothly. As a Streets Operator, you'll operate light to heavy equipment to support essential maintenance activities like street repair, landscaping, and maintaining water and wastewater lines. From hauling materials and sweeping streets to snow removal and storm drain maintenance, your work will directly impact the safety and quality of life in Durango.

We'll invest in your success. If you don't already have a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL), we'll facilitate the training you need to obtain it. And to show our appreciation of your hard work, we offer a $500 per month snowplow bonus between November 1st and April 30th every year. The City of Durango is a purpose-driven organization with more than 400 full-time and 300 part-time and seasonal employees across 15 departments, all working together to provide a wide range of services that keep our community running every day.
