You are- Rigorous, with perfect mastery of hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
- Motivated, eager to grow and evolve in your profession.
- Expert and a teacher at heart, with full command of pastry techniques and the ability to transmit your know‑how effectively.
- Responsible and a leader, able to guide, motivate a team, and represent the pastry department with other services.
- Educated in the art of French cuisine as well as other international styles of baking.
- Work with a team of 4 to 7 pastry chefs and pastry commis.
- Offer a wide variety of pastries at the buffet, personalizing guest interactions.
- Check mise en place, presentation, and buffet replenishment (serving 600 to 1,000 covers per service).
- Manage orders, monitor stocks, and ensure the department stays within budget.
- Design and take part in organizing special events or services (special occasions, seminars, etc.).
- Guarantee service quality while strictly adhering to Club Med hygiene and safety standards.
- Train, unite, and motivate your team around defined objectives, supporting their professional growth.
- Create mouth‑watering fresh breads, cakes, and pastries for each service.
