Position Summary
The Assistant Beverage Manager supports the Beverage Operations Manager in overseeing the department's daily operations, improving sales and profitability, and ensuring compliance with company standards while addressing guest concerns.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Beverage Manager supervises in conjunction with the Beverage Operations Manager, the Beverage Department and assists with the day-to-day operation of the department. Improves and maintains sales and profitability and reduces or eliminate guest’s complaints. Ensures company standards are followed.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- 8–10 years of managerial experience in upscale food and beverage operations (cruise ship experience preferred).
- Expertise in beverage brands, staff management, and customer service.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software.
- Knowledge of beverage brands and quality of liquors, wine, and beers.
- Ability to manage international staff and provide customer service.
- Working knowledge of computers and software packages.
