Almac Group is currently seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for our Durham, NC location.
The Maintenance Coordinator will provide coordination of Almac facilities maintenance, operational activities and personnel that will minimize the downtime and disruption to the Almac US PA operations. Ensure the facilities and related systems operate in a compliant state that supports each of the Almac business units.
Responsibilities- Provide daily planning, scheduling, and technical guidance for each of the Facilities Technicians by assigning work orders, the required materials and tools, and a timeline for the completion of the assigned task. Review all completed work orders to ensure compliance of Almac procedures are maintained.
- Coordinate and perform installations, repairs, and planned/unplanned maintenance including but not limited to architectural, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
- Coordinate and support maintenance and operations of the Facilities and related systems and follow work priorities and resources as set forth by Almac Facilities.
- Provide support, training, and instructions for the Maintenance Technicians to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the expectations.
- Support the health and safety program within the maintenance team including core risk assessments and equipment risk assessments. Ensure risk assessment training for staff and contractors maintain compliancy.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Trade or Technical training required.
- 5+ years experience in Facilities or trades required.
- Experienced in HVAC, Electrical, Stationary Engineer and/or General Construction.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Trade or Technical School required.
- Completion of a certified Apprentice Trade Program preferred.
- Building Automation System experience preferred.
- Calibration training preferred.
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
- Computerized Maintenance Management Systems preferred.
- Fire Alarm System Knowledge.
