Manufacturing Production Test Technician

Location: NC, Durham

Pay Rate: $22.50/hr

Work Schedule Hours are from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. Trained on first shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm for the first 4 to 6 weeks.

Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing Parata Max vial‑filling machines to ensure each unit meets quality, performance, and customer configuration requirements before shipment. Works closely with manufacturing leadership to meet production and shipping priorities.

• AAS in a technical field preferred or 3-5 years hands‑on experience with electronics/electromechanical systems.

• Read/interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Use multimeter and electronic diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Follow detailed test procedures and documentation.
• Perform software installs, firmware updates, and configurations.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

• Perform functional testing of vial‑fill machines.
• Validate performance, accuracy, safety, and reliability.
• Document results, defects, and fixes.
• Ensure units meet quality and customer specifications.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and software issues.
• Use schematics and diagnostic tools to identify failures.
• Perform repairs, calibrations, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Technical Support as needed.

• Load software and execute firmware updates.
• Configure machines per order requirements.
• Verify accuracy of programmed settings and labeling.

• Align work with production priorities and shipping schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.
• Provide process‑improvement feedback.
• Assist in training new technicians.
